Here we go; my first post to 3 Wishes. 

I initially chose another blogging tool, but found it to constrictive in design.  I found WordPress more suitable to my needs.  I am looking forward to using this as a reflection tool for my learning journey.

My first task for this unit is to list my top five tips for new bloggers, so here they are:

  1. Select your blogging tool by looking at a few different ones.  Perhaps as I found, it may take more that one try to find the one that suits your needs the most.  There are many free blogging tools available such as this one, wordpress.com, thoughts.com, livejournal.com, but the choices do not end there.
  2. Choose a suitable design and name.  For some tips and advice on how to come up with a catchy name,   try: http://www.chrisg.com/catchy-blog-names/
  3. Remember, its not difficult, anyone with a computer and access to the internet can do it!
  4. Make sure to spellcheck and edit your posts by viewing them before posting to your blog.
  5. Be sure to keep your blog up to date by making regular posts and have FUN!!!
